Boxer Amphibious Ready Group Homecoming

Welcome to Navy Live blog coverage of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group’s return from deployment.

Live video from Naval Base San Diego, Calif., is scheduled to begin 10:30 a.m. EDT April 25.

The amphibious ready group is made up of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18), and amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). While deployed, they operated with embarked forces of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and the “Black Jacks” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 21, Detachment 3, as well as detachments from Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 1 and ACU 5.
