USS Freedom, LCS1, Homecoming, Crew swap

SAN DIEGO (Aug. 7, 2013) Lt. Cmdr. Jake Haff, officer in charge of the aviation detachment supporting the Gold crew of the littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1), holds his newborn son for the first time during a homecoming celebration at Naval Air Station North Island. The ship’s Gold crew has been relieved by the ship’s Blue crew midway through the ship’s maiden deployment to the Asia-Pacific region.
