“Faces of the Fleet” takes a look at YOUR Navy operating forward. These images represent the greatest Sailors in the greatest Navy in the world leading from the deck plates, and completing missions around the globe. This is your fleet and these are your Sailors! Hooyah, Navy!!

PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 18, 2012) Information Systems Technician Seaman Jordan Sapel, assigned to guided missile-destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89), relays information from a satellite phone to his workspace on the ship. Mustin is currently participating in Valiant Shield 2012. Valiant Shield is an integrated training exercise that allows the opportunity to integrate Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps assets in a blue-environment.
