USS Truxtun (DDG 103) Returns Home

NORFOLK (Nov. 15, 2014) Operations Specialist 3rd Class Carter Davonte holds his daughter for the first time. The child was born while Davonte was deployed aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Truxtun (DDG 103) as part of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 2 in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility.
