Navy Joins the Nation in Observing Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month

“Protecting Our People Protects Our Mission” was the theme of this year’s Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. Taking on an active role throughout April, the Navy had an opportunity with initiatives and programs to reinforce the idea that our people are the most important strategic resource and that operational success depends on supporting our personnel, protecting our shipmates, and safeguarding team cohesion.
