Broken Links: Victim advocate steps up to stop sexual assault

The Navy Office of Information is releasing the second installment of “Broken Links,” a series of short videos profiling individuals who, either personally or professionally, have been affected by sexual assault. We hope Broken Links will encourage Sailors and civilians to help prevent these crimes by speaking up and stepping in if they see inappropriate or potentially dangerous situations which could lead to a sexual assault.

“Broken Links” second video, profiling Quartermaster 2nd Class Brian Jones, is contained below, and can also be found on the sexual assault prevention and response homepage on Navy.mil. QM2 Jones shares his experience of being a victim advocate and his personal story of stepping up to stop sexual assault.
