PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 20, 2012) Guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) fires two SM2 missiles from the ship’s aft missile deck during a missile exercise. SAIPAN (Sept. 24, 2012) Yeoman 1st Class Alofaaga Aviena, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), helps a high school student of Marianus High School of Saipan with her homework while participating in a community service project at the school.
