  1. Do Patrol Coastal ships not count as part of the surface fleet?

  2. FFG’s don’t have the G any more.  The Mk 13 launcher has been taken off because the SM-1’s are gone.  Now all the have is the 76MM mount, the over the side torpedoes and the LAMPs helos.

  3. Where’s the AIRCRAFT CARRIERS??????

  4. John Paul Jones would be disappointed to learn that the U.S. Navy has been taking the fight to the enemy only since 1812.

  5. I’m actually surprised the MCM’s are on there. The PCs go out more often than we do.

  6. They should at least mount that new cannon that the LCS have or a 5″ gun or something on the bow.  Such an under armed platform now one has to ask what the point of deploying them?  Heck, a large percentage of our DDGs are short a CIWS mount too.

  7. I know the Mount Whitney (LCC-20) got transfered to MSC but where is the Blue Ridge (LCC-19)

  8. Perhaps they are making a distinction between the US Navy and the Continental navy (which would still be strange).
